Medium sized tub of Greek, plain, strained yogurt (can use fat free or in a pinch…sour cream) Central Market and/or Whole Foods has TOTAL brand Greek yogurt
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 European cucumber, peeled and sliced lengthwise with the seeds removed, then grated or shredded finely
2-3 cloves of fresh garlic pushed through a press (can make this as strong as you like…I prefer it to be a little more subtle so that it doesn’t overpower)
1 palm full of chopped fresh dill
Mix all together and serve cold. You have to taste this as you go and adjust the flavors. Make it the day before for well developed flavor. You can buy this already made at Whole Foods….but why would you do that????
