1 lb. white mushrooms, washed, stem removed and reserved

4 slices of bacon, cooked and chopped

1 medium onion

1 Tbsp. green pepper

½ cup buttered breadcrumbs

3 oz. cream cheese, softened

¼ cup hot water

In a food processor, combine the bacon, onion, pepper, and chopped mushroom stems, sauté. Add cream cheese to mixture. Stuff mixture generously into mushroom caps. Press stuffing side up into the buttered breadcrumbs. Place mushrooms into buttered 9x11 dish and add ¼ cup of hot water to the bottom of the dish.
