½ cup shortening
½ cup sugar
1 cup wheat germ
1 Tbsp. salt
1 cup boiling water
2 eggs, beaten
2 pkgs. yeast in 1 cup warm water
6 cups flour
Mix shortening, sugar, and wheat germ. Add boiling water, can cool to lukewarm. Add eggs and yeast mixture. Add ½ of flour, mix well then add remaining flour. Refrigerate overnight. Form into golf ball sized balls and allow to rise for 1 ½ hours. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes.
