Kay Campo’s Marinade

Christi Jensen

½ cup oil

1/3 cup soy sauce

1 Tbsp. sugar

2 Tbsp. vinegar

1 fresh garlic clove or garlic powder (clove is obviously preferred)

½ tsp. ground ginger (fresh or powder)

Mix and leave at least 4 hours; grill for 10 minutes. Works best with chicken breasts. Pick up some buns from Fuddrucker’s and you will have a terrific grilled chicken sandwich. Add romaine lettuce, fresh grated Parmesan, croutons, Le Madeleine Caesar dressing and you have a wonderful grilled chicken Caesar salad. Marinade is enough for about 6 chicken breasts.
