¾ cups sugar
¼ cup flour
½ tsp. ground nutmeg
½ tsp. ground cinnamon
Dash salt
6 C thinly sliced apples (Granny Smith green apples)
2 Tbsp. butter
Directions:
Combine all ingredients except for butter. Place in unbaked crust and top with butter. Place top crust on and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and don’t forget to cut vent holes in crust. Put foil around edges of crust until the last 10 minutes or so of baking to keep edges from burning. Bake for 40-50 minutes at 425°.
